Supervisor Reliability Rotating Equipment

Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Rotating Equipment Reliability Superintendent is responsible for developing and managing the rotating equipment reliability programs and supervising the rotating equipment reliability group. Provides leadership for the rotating equipment reliability group engineers and specialists. Responsible for providing operations, the capital projects group, and management with technical guidance concerning rotating equipment systems. This position is responsible for improving safety, establishing and maintaining maintenance best practices, improving the reliability and availability of critical equipment and controls, developing and improving the preventive and predictive maintenance programs, establishing guidelines for technical training. Provides information to maintenance planning and supervision regarding rotating equipment systems, as well as providing guidance with upgrades or changes during plant outages and turnarounds. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or equivalent required Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience and technical certification(s) in Mechanical Engineering Technology requires EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS  Minimum 15 years of refinery/petrochemical maintenance/planning experience with at least 5 years' experience in a supervisory role (or equivalent) required Good communication skills Demonstrated ability to act as lead on TAR's and outages Fluent in English, both oral and written, required Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite required Ability to adjust schedule to meet business needs MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES Lead Area Maintenance supervisors in all aspects of refinery maintenance Maintain current records and reports as needed. Responsible for adherence and observation of plant and job specific safety procedures Coordinate contract employees activities for various crafts Provide leadership for department by supervising and maintaining other areas as needed Correctly apply Plant Rules to supervision of subordinates Ensure timekeeping, attendance records, etc. are properly maintained Acts as maintenance manager in absence of same. Ensure work schedules and work activities are met for department Provide on the job training for staff as appropriate to maintain qualifications and certifications Regularly communicate with supervisor work progress, concerns and questions EXPECTED RESULTS All work performed safely and efficiently Delivers maintenance work on schedule and communicates any deficiencies Work schedules met on time without the need for rework Subordinates maintain required qualifications and certifications Adherence to all company policies and procedures CVR Energy is an EEO and affirmative action employer. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
