Principal Engineer

Skills Required:
o Work experience in the oil and gas industry is required.
o Strong industry standards knowledge for pumps, vessels, compressors, condensers, piping, and valves is required.
o Strong communication skills required to interface with client and subcontractors.
o Strong attention to detail and capable to perform detailed technical document and drawing checking. Position requires significant exposure to vendor document review, detailed assessment of vendor design accuracy and specification compliance.
o Must be familiar with equipment and system sizing, safety issues including process safety management (PSM) standard, and all applicable codes and standards including PIP, ASME, API, OSHA, and EPA.
o Computer Skills: MS Office. Working knowledge of AutoCad
o Experience with field walk downs of piping and equipment in a refinery.
o 10
years of engineering experience in refinery or chemical plant environment preferred
Duties &
Responsibilities:
o Review engineering system detailed design packages
o Review vendor documents for compliance to project specifications and industry standards.
o Meet with stakeholders to discuss the project and provide input on the design.
Education/Training/Certifications:
o BSME required
o PE or FE preferred Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
